Acts 4:10-12

"Let it be known to all of you...that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, who God raised from the dead. This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, which has become the cornerstone. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

Registration Officially Closing July 15th

Hi everyone,

We will officially close registration for Cornerstone on July 15th.  Several classes are full and we are thankful and excited about this coming year.

During this summer, I pray you are able to clearly hear Christ speak to you regarding the direction your family is taking in your home schooling journey.  Jesus said, "My sheep know my voice and a stranger they will not follow."  As we look to Him in faith, we know He will lead us triumphantly.  He will always surprise us with His direction, but He will be with us as we trust in His name.

Serving the Lord with our whole hearts is our utmost calling.  Spend a little time today just thinking about Him and His Word.  I assure you it will refresh your soul and mind.  In our family, our Bible time consist of reading a chapter in the morning and at night.  We discuss the morning reading and I'm always amazed at what comes out in our conversations.  Yesterday we were reading II Timothy chapter 2.  The scripture stated, "he leads with gentleness" and the kids and I immediately thought of my husband.  What a wonderful example of a godly man he is.  I thank the Lord my children understand the Lord better because of my husband's life.

On to a random thought, as mothers, most of us struggle daily just to manage household responsibilities.  In my bedroom there are two stacks of clean laundry calling to me to fold them and here I sit writing on a blog.  I'm asking the Lord to help me love housework.  Yes, I'm 47 and still don't love it.  Will I ever?  "I know in whom I have believed."  Help me Lord.  I know You will.

Cornerstone Cooperative's New Site

Welcome to our new website! My husband is helping me to establish this venue so that you can have more information in a timely manner and with more detail. Having Christ as the Head of our home is our greatest desire and we long for everyone who follows Him to hear His voice clearly as they make their home schooling decisions. Many choices exist for families so please seek Christ as you choose opportunities for your family. The Lord leads so beautifully and where He leads me I will follow. Sometimes those places are easy; some are difficult, but keeping our eyes on Him, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, will always mean a deeper understanding of who He is and how much He loves us.

Thanks for checking out our site.

Over the next few weeks, we will be posting information regarding Fall 2011 Cooperative Classes. If you have additional questions, please email me at pianomom@mindspring.com or phone 837-1318.

Our Fall 2011 registration form is located below.
